Every year, sudden infant death syndrome, or SIDS, takes the lives of millions of infants around the world.
Early infant asphyxiation accounts for approximately a fourth of these deaths and is a major issue in the developing world where infant respiratory monitors are too expensive to widely implement. This site details our proposed solution, an effective yet inexpensive infant respiratory rate monitor, as well as our progress toward making this solution a reality.
